I always knew I wanted to make a difference through my work.

My journey began in graphic design—7 years of yearbook from elementary school through high school, a degree in Graphic Communication from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and lots of random design jobs along the way.

But my career options seemed so limited to convincing people to buy things through advertising, and I wanted to do something more impactful.

So I started exploring other creative fields—photography, video production, and animation—to add to my graphic design skillset and hopefully expand my career options.

In college, I worked as a Video Editor (and eventually promoted to Video Team Lead) at the Cal Poly Admissions Office to help prospective students find their ideal college.

After graduation, I sought out a multimedia position at a digital agency focused on social good campaigns to use my skills towards work that mattered.

And now, I work as a Creative Lead in the educational department at Procore, a company committed to improving the lives of everyone in construction.

Outside of work, I regularly guest speak at my college department for topics ranging from filming tips, social media strategy, and career advice, because I want to share my knowledge with anyone that wants to learn.

I will always be on the lookout for creative opportunities to help make the world a little better. Know any? Want to collaborate or learn more about my work? Need career advice or a portfolio review? Let’s Chat.
